The 250,000 square foot David Whitney Building is a high profile 19-story building in downtown Detroit. This project included simultaneous asbestos abatement and interior demolition (complete gut out) to convert the building into luxury apartments while keeping the historical aesthetics. This required the use of a 19-story chute and multiple crane lifts.
